Q. What Type of analog media can you digitize?
A. You can see a list of the media we are able to digitize here. If you don’t see your media type, let us know, odds are we can probably digitize it!
Q. What is a digital archive?
A. A digital archive is a searchable database of all of your families visual assets including photographs, albums, drawings, prints, digital images from your devices and more all digitized and located in one place that is password protected with a login. These visuals are organized and catalogued in a database that is searchable based on parameters that make sense for you. Some clients like it by year (recommended) and then by person or by location of the print (Bin 1, Bin2 etc) .
Q. How does the digital archive work?
A. To begin, clients send us all of the images they want included in their archive including digital(from phones, harddrives, photo services) and analogue (prints, albums, drawings etc) organized. We then load them onto our server and back them up. Then we begin to organize them based on your specifications from previous meetings.
As we begin to manage your images, we will create you a private login to access your personal digital archive on our image management software. You can access this digital database at anytime, from anywhere in the world as long as you have WIFI. Once logged in, you can upload images, search for the images we’ve already organized, or just browse your galleries to see what we have been doing. It is fully searchable based on your parameters. For example, let’s say you want to find a photo of your grandma that is from 1970. You would then go to the search bar and enter “grandma, 1970” and all of the photos of your grandma in 1970 will appear. If you would like, we can even narrow down your search to include events.
Q. What is the process to get started?
A. Step one, we have a quick Discovery Call with you to determine your goals, and to see if we are a good fit.
Step Two, we set up an in person meeting or a Zoom call so we can meet each other and see the media that you have gathered up for us, or to discuss where it is and how to download it or gather it.
Step Three, our team creates a scope map which outlines the path we will take to get to your desired end product of searchable digital archive, photo albums, photo wall or all of the above.
STep Four, we get started. Depending on the project we update you monthly or quarterly. Pricing is determined by the amount of data and photos you have that are to be managed and organized into your digital archive, photo albums or photo wall.
Q. What is your pricing for each service?
A. Pricing is highly dependent on the number of images you have and the scope of the project. Each client has unique goals for their families visuals and how they want them presented and preserved. Contact us and we can create a custom quote for you.

A. Yes! We have a lot of tips over on our blog where you can learn how to sort through your own images at home. You can do it!
