Jennifer Loomis
Founder
Jennifer Loomis (MA, Certified Photo Manager, Mylio Photos Certified Consultant) is a seasoned consultant and entrepreneur with deep expertise in visual storytelling, digital asset management, and photographic preservation. She began her career as a photojournalist after earning her Master’s degree in 1997, later pioneering maternity photography with timeless black-and-white portraits. Over the past 30 years, she has photographed more than 5,000 individuals and families, including celebrities, professional athletes, and high-profile clients.
Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, TIME, The Los Angeles Times, The Seattle Times, and on national television including CBS Morning News and Entertainment Tonight.
As her photography business grew, Jennifer developed a sophisticated system for naming, organizing, archiving, and preserving her vast archive of professional and personal images—totaling in the millions. In 2018, she launched Signature Photo Organizing (SPO), applying her systems and storytelling expertise to help families and individuals preserve their memories and gain control over their digital photo libraries.
Today, Jennifer also consults with law firms, universities, and businesses to develop custom strategies for managing visual and digital assets. In an era where digital media is core to branding, operations, and communication, she helps organizations implement scalable systems for organizing, backing up, and accessing visual content across departments and teams.
Jennifer currently serves on the Advisory Board of The Photo Managers, the largest global organization of professional photo organizers, where she contributes thought leadership and advocates for higher industry standards.
Whether working with families, institutions, or corporations, Jennifer brings a strategic and human-centered approach to organizing the visual stories that matter most.

Edison
Head of Security
Edison is a 10-year-old flat coat retriever mix who was found wandering downtown Astoria Oregon as a puppy. He had a wild adolescence and has finally settled down. He loves going to the beach with Jennifer when she does her cold plunge. His life time passions are chasing after small furry things that flee and eating food on the floor. He protects the office and the gazzilions of dollars of equipment we have to help our clients digitize and organize.
Oni
Business Advisor
Oni is a 3-year-old cat who acts as one of SPO’s lead business advisors. Oni’s passions are eating treats and sleeping during the day on Sarah’s lap. He only wakes up when he is asked to weigh in on an important business decision. In his free time he enjoys basking in the sun, modeling for Sarah’s photography, and watching the birds.
