Don’t Lose Your Photos: Verify Your iCloud Backup
Not sure your iPhone is actually backing up? In this video, I’ll show you how to check in under a minute, so you don’t lose your photos, messages, and settings if your phone is lost, stolen, or broken.
Quick steps:
Open Settings
Tap your name at the top
Tap iCloud
Tap iCloud Backup
Check that the toggle is on and look at the Last successful backup date. If it’s old, tap Back Up Now.
Tip: Backups usually run automatically when your iPhone is locked, plugged in, and connected to Wi-Fi. If yours hasn’t backed up in a while, check that you have enough iCloud storage.
