CREATING CUSTOM PHOTO WALLS
We are strong believers that the best way to appreciate your family images is to hang them on your walls. Because of this, we offer custom photo wall designs to fit you and your family’s home.
What does this process look like? Keep reading to find out more.
Step 1: The initial consultation
This usually takes place over Zoom or on a phone call and gives us a chance to get a better sense of what you have in mind.
Step 2: The in-person meeting
We come to your house to take photos and measurements of the walls you are hoping to fill with family photos. We get a sense of the space and start to piece together how your photo wall can blend seamlessly into your interior design. We also see some of the photos you want up on the wall and give our initial recommendations for culling through and picking your images.
Step 3: Images
You send us anywhere from 1-300 of your favorite family photos for us to narrow down for the photo wall. We look through these images, keeping in mind the composition, story, and flow of the entire photo wall.
Step 4: Our next in-person meeting
We create a mock-up of 1-3 wall designs with your photos for you to look through at the meeting. You tell us what designs you like best, and what images you like or what images you want to be replaced in the designs. During this meeting we will also show you printing and framing options if you decide to do the printing and framing with us. We offer a range of print paper options, as well as custom made frames to fit your home and wall design perfectly.
Step 5: Finalization & Feedback
We finalize your photo wall design given your feedback and calculate the measurements between each frame and where they sit on the wall. We then get your approval of the final design.
Step 6 (optional): Print & Frame
If you decide to do your printing and framing with us, we start the process of lightly editing your images to be best suited for printing and place your frame order. Our framer is able to create custom frame designs to best fit your home.
Step 7: Delivery
We deliver the completed wall design to you, along with your framed prints and a list of people we recommend you hire to hang your images on the wall.
