THE IMPORTANCE OF PHOTO ALBUMS

Do you remember the big scrapbooking boom of the 90’s and early 2000’s? Where your grandma, your aunts, your mom, even you found yourself making scrapbooks for every child, holiday, or event. As goofy as the sparkly sticker packs and construction paper cut outs may be now, how lucky are we to have our memories preserved like that?

This is Sarah here, Signature Photo Organizing’s senior editor and I’ll let you in on a little secret—I’ve started scrapbooking. Now, in the year 2023! Sparkly stickers and all.

How I got started

I have worked with Jennifer to create quite a few photo albums (a lot nicer than my homemade scrapbooks) for her photography business and I started to realize just how many of my own memories have gotten lost in my Bermuda Triangle of a camera roll, never to be seen again.

Why I make albums

Creating photo albums gives you an excuse and reason to look at your precious photos. We spend all day snapping images of life on our phones, but spend such little time looking over and enjoying those memories. If f you went through all of the trouble of taking 25 photos of your dog sitting in a pile of leaves, the least you can do is put one of those photos in an album to enjoy time and time again.

Who enjoys albums

Albums help us tell our family stories. They show yourself, your kids, your grandkids, heck—even your great great great grand kids, who there family is. This is why we offer custom made photo albums. We believe preserving and enjoying your memories is one of the best gifts you could give to yourself and your family.
